Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, a.k.a. &#8216;The Turtle&#8217;, <a href=\"http:\/\/articles.latimes.com\/2012\/dec\/26\/nation\/la-na-1227-fiscal-cliff-mcconnell-20121227\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">has pretty much kept himself out of the discussions<\/a>.
