Cactus Corners Singles Adventure Club Calendar

The Cactus Corners Singles Adventure Club is a singles club for adventure seeking individuals in the Cactus Corners area. The BilgeBucket Gazette's own Dex Rexter, is a member of this fun loving group and has agreed to post upcoming events in an effort to boost membership. Meetings occur every other Friday at the Pink Gecko Karaoke Lounge in the Cactus Blossoms Strip Mall. Here are the exciting events planned for the coming weeks.

	Thursday, September 13 – Star Gazing Night. Amateur astronomer, Gary Buddig, has graciously agreed to allow us to use his homemade telescope to look at the heavens. Gary says now is a good time to view Jupiter, the Pleiades and the Andromeda Galaxy. In case of boredom, Gary lives close to the Barrows, the kinkiest couple in Cactus Corners, so we can always watch them. Rumor has it, they've got a swing. Ruff, ruff!
	Friday, September 14 – Friday Night Pool Party at Dale Carlson’s house. Take a dip in Dale’s new phallic shaped swimming pool. Don’t worry; Dale will provide the food, drinks and mickeys. Clothing optional.
	Sunday, September 16 – Tubing on the Salt River. This is the next to last weekend to float down the Salt, get drunk and try to drown yourself. We’ll tie all our tubes together and put our big cooler full of brewskis right in the center for easy access. There’s nothing that says fun more than drinking beer while baking in 100 degree heat under the desert sun. If you really want fun, forget your sunscreen. Your county coroner will thank you.
	Tuesday, September 18 – Euchre Night at Fran Miller’s house. We’ll be spending the night finding out what the hell Euchre is while drinking gallons of Margaritas.
	Wednesday, September 19 – Gardening Night at Phyllis Martin’s house. We’ll gather together and discuss our favorite desert plants like Agave schotti, Sphaeralcea ambigua and Mammillaria grahamii. We’ll also be drinking leftover Margaritas from Euchre Night.
	Friday, September 21 – Casino Night at Cactus Valley Casino. This casino guarantees not only the loosest slots in town, but also the loosest sluts. Spend your paycheck at the blackjack tables; lose your mortgage payment at the craps table or just get loaded from the free drinks served by the sexiest waitresses this side of Ahwatukee. Plus, relive the glorious music of 1980’s super group Wang Chung with the Wang Chung Experience in the Charlie Callas Room. Like the song sez: Everyone have fun tonight; everyone Wang Chung tonight!
	Sunday, September 23 – Scenic Drive to Buzzard City Ghost Town. We’ll be heading off toward the Buzzard Mountains, forty miles from Gila Bend, on an old washboarded dirt road to visit this old mining town and take in the sites along the way. Highlights include cow skulls, barren dry washes, dried up cacti and sagebrush and lots of buzzards watching us from above. The foundations of many of Buzzard City’s buildings remain including the jail, saloon and brothel. Plus, there are several old, uncovered, mining holes that are just begging to be explored. Unless somebody has a four wheel vehicle, we’ll all squeeze into Floyd Weiner’s old 1972 Ford Country Squire station wagon for the drive. Does it get any better than this?
